I’m excited to share my latest release, Lacey FX (Part 1), now available exclusively through the Hundred Hand Slap production music library.
As someone who spends a huge amount of time creating audio imaging, promos, podcasts and branded content, I’ve always believed that great production starts with great building blocks. Sometimes it’s not the music that makes the biggest difference — it’s the transition, the impact, the rise, the sweep or the sound that glues everything together.
That’s what inspired Lacey FX (Part 1).
This collection features 100 high-impact sound effects created specifically for audio producers and content creators. Inside you’ll find a wide range of breakers, beep breakers, rock breakers, risers, whooshes, vocal elements and sucks, all designed to help your productions sound bigger, cleaner and more impactful.
Every element in this collection was crafted with real-world production in mind. Whether you’re producing radio imaging, podcast intros, video content, station promos, trailers or social media audio, these sounds are designed to slot straight into your workflow and deliver instant energy and movement.
Some of the highlights include:
- Powerful transition breakers
- Digital and tech-inspired beep effects
- Aggressive rock-style impacts
- Cinematic risers and tension builders
- Fast-moving whooshes and sweeps
- Vocal stabs and hype elements
- Dynamic sucks and reverse effects
I’ve spent years creating and collecting sound design elements for my own productions, and this release brings together many of the styles and techniques I rely on every day when building content that needs to grab attention and keep audiences engaged.
This is just the beginning of the Lacey FX series, with more collections planned in the future.
Lacey FX (Part 1) is available now through Hundred Hand Slap, the production music and audio library founded by former BBC Head of Station Imaging Matt Fisher.
